That I wouldn't find range ammo at the shooting spot today.  I have components ordered for building me some hurtin' bombs as well as some 180gr xtp factory ammo for carry, But I called in sick today to get to the doc's office and figured I could go have fun.  So me and my bro jumped in his janky neon that apparently cant heat and drove a hour and a half to a range that we had free tokens to.  we went upstairs to find ammo and found the same Hornaday XTP's for 5 buck more a box :o of 20 and nothing else.  They had .38 super there though, the salesman was quick to point that out :P Then the old buzzard had to tell me that if I had a converion bbl for the 20, i could shoot stuff they had in stock ??? Well thank you captain freaking obvious ;)  Well, day not shot, we both had AR's to sight in and I always bring my Neos for a few games of poker and the G22 never lets me down for a good time.  We go back down to the range  and  sunofagun all 16 lanes are full.  There is a line almost to the Neon outside! >:(  Oh well, it wasn't to be. we got in the car and gawked at stuff at Cabelas (they had 220gr LRN Buffalo bore as well as PMC and Blazer Aluminum)  Then we came back to town and had Buffalo wild wings.  Hey, did you know they don't like folks to carry, but yet use barely visiable signs?  who'da thunk it?  ;) and to Gander MTN where I realized I needed a sight pusher for my new sights and should have looked at Cabelas.  But he got a new Strikfire optic for a budget blaster AR he has and I got away for a bit with no responsibility   :)

I just realized this is more of a rant than it is about ammo, even tough it was a good day.  Mods, you wanna move it where you see fit?

We don't get too moderatory around here.  This is as good a place as any.

Too bad about a long trip with little in the way of bang at the end.

Cabela's here in Lehi, UT doesn't seem to have an issue with concealed carry.  If you have a gun you want them to look at you have to check it and get it cleared at the firearms checkpoint, but as long as your concealed gun stays in it's holster they don't care.  Sign says that too, very clearly.

I had my BBQ holster on and no one said boo.  no issues here, just no real gunsmith tools.
