I am looking at recoil springs for the Witness stock 2 and its unclear if it should get a "full size" or a "long slide" recoil spring. Any help would be great.

You can call Wolff Gunsprings and ask more specific questions and if you can just buy the 20 lbs spring which most are using.

I ordered the full size one I was wondering if I should have ordered the longslide  stock 2

I used the standard length in my Match.  I think it is the same slide length as your Stock II.  The longslide would be for things like a 6" Hunter or Gold.
