Does such a firearm exist?

I have the itch for a new hunting handgun but not finding exactly what I am looking for.

I already have a Glock 20 long slide and I've killed a few animals with it but I'm looking for something different.

Trying to find the following:

* 1911/2011 style
* 6" extended and threaded barrel (I shoot suppressed)
* must have a rail for light
* Ability to install an RMR sight (can be done aftermarket)
* Suppressor height sights

I can find plenty of 6" 1911/2011 guns. Only a few with rails, and so far none with extended threaded barrel and suppressor sights.

Does any such rig exist in factory form?

I've been looking at the RIA 6" high capacity model, but even looking at aftermarket very few places offer 6" extended, threaded barrels. Bar- Sto will also no longer fit their barrels to any RIA 1911.

OP, your post is a bit confusing.

It sounds like you want a gun with a slide long enough to contain a six inch barrel, but if it's extended for threading, it's not going to be six inches anymore.

I'm guessing you want a 6" slide with a 6.6" threaded barrel?

Or do you want a 5" slide with 6" barrel installed that has been threaded?

Dan Wesson is building me a custom that fits your description, the barrel is made by KKM and they are waiting on a new lathe to finish the barrel.  DW will be offering the new pistol next year under the name "Kanati."  It also comes with a RMR in addition to suppressor sights.

It will look like the "Fury" with a six inch long slide, ramped dust cover like the Bruin and an extended, threaded barrel.

Talk to Bob Serva at Fusion Firearms. He makes custom 1911's for a price. I got a long slide from him, though it is not threaded or railed. I know he sells threaded barrels, but I'm not too sure about rails.

6" slide plus extended/threaded barrel. So yes about a 6.6" barrel length.

Here is a picture of my new one a Dan Wesson Kanati, this one does not have the threaded barrel in but it ships with it (6.4" threaded bull barrel.)  10mm double stack longslide with an RMR and Ionbond.
