I went to a gun show, and while I did not get any new guns I picked up 1 pound jugs Of H414 And Varget. Got a bag of 250 180 grain .40 cal jacketed soft point projectiles. When I came in I had gotten 4 new magazines for my Ruger Mark IV ,22 LR pistol, so I loaded up the mags and put them in a pistol magazine pouch.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

Kenk

Absolutely nothing, and am kicking myself for it now. Instead, I took a gentleman's suggestion and sent 200 - 180gr XTP's down range from my RIA, what a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon

Got 500- 9mm brass ready along with 200- 10mm and 120- 30-30 for the Contender pistol. I always take the 30-30 with me when shooting at any public range in case I have an idiot next to me. Standing next to it when it goes off is like getting hit in the face with a sheet of plywood. Doesn't take many rounds and they move or leave. Gotta love H335 and 110gr carbine bullets for removing unwanted company. The fireball alone is impressive.

That's a really good idea, seems to happen far more often than it should

Loaded up 100 more 10mms to go with the 150 or so in my range bag and headed out. Planned to stop by LGS for a vertical foregrip for my 10mm AR and hit the range to see if my mag tweaks have paid off. The range was closed :'( 1 hour drive to next range due to freeway closure. Ended up at Costco instead. At least I have some nice steaks to grill up.

If you're in the S.E. Michigan area, LMK. I'll grill you up a steak :) Maybe hit the range first!

What are the spec's on your 10mm ar if I may inquire?  Sounds interesting, especially the muzzle velocity.

I bought a RWM Xtreme DI 10mm AR complete package, using grease gun mags and a hybrid lower. Mine has a 16" SS barrel. It did have some issues, but a member here, Pablo, steered me in the right direction. It was $799 w/one mag included. I ordered 3 extra mags. The cycling issues were sorted out with some polishing w/ a dremel and a one piece gas ring($10) Mags wouldn't feed when full, but I think I have that sorted out. Didn't get to test that on Sunday.

Ron Williams (RWM Xtrreme) met his promised timelines, was quick to answer emails, and offer suggestions. I took it upon myself to sort out this guns issues. I would offer the caveat that if you buy one be ready to tinker with it. Mostly just small refinements.

Haven't had it that long and only had one opportunity to run some factory and handloads over the Chronograph. I'm looking forward to doing that again with some different loads in the next few weeks. I'll post the results.

Here is the post of my results thus far http://10mm-firearms.com/reloading-10mm-ammo/chrony-results-for-10mm-ar-and-kimber-tle-ii/msg75017/#msg75017

Sounds like a fun weapon to me

It really is. Surprisingly quiet and very little to no muzzle flash. If I have the mag issue sorted out I plan on using it next Saturday. There's a steel pin shoot and it should do well in the pistol caliber carbine class.

Kenk

Haven't done much of that, good luck with your new set-up

Graybeard

Thanks. This will be the first time for me. I usually shoot stock centerfire and .22 open.

Sprayed my press down with rem-oil and cleaned up my powder measure. Need to get out and go shooting to have something to reload lol.
