On the one hand I have wished many times for a 10mm revolver when chasing down my brass.

On the other it seems like a big heavy handgun to only have six shots.

Good looking wheelgun though.

Im just blown away at that 3 inch GP100 in 10mm ... I just don't see it replacing my 29

This appeals to me more than the GP-100 Match Champion offering.  The GP is more K frame sized than N frame. With a decent holster and belt it will conceal well but offer enough thump to use for bear, feral bipeds and Buicks.  All in a caliber that starts with a .4

But I've always been drawn to 1911s and large bore revolvers...

Hold my beer and watch this, Don't try this at home kids, Professional driver on a closed course...

Nice, I love revolvers, but there's something about that "nearly triple thing" before you have to reload, love the concept of easy brass policing

It's up on Ruger's Website:

My wallet is getting that emptying feeling....

Very nice model.  Will the recoil be manageable?

Id say recoil would be magabanageable... The GP100 is a hefty firearm !

Anyone get one of these yet?  I'm tossing around between this and the match champion

I have had a GP-100 with a 3 inch barrel that was converted to 10mm by David Clements and even shooting 200 gr Double Tap or Buffalo Bore the recoil is not bad at all.

I am surprise there is only 1oz difference between the two. I have the Match champion and the trigger is very nice.  That said I would have gotten the 3" if it were available at the time.

I have been keeping an eye out for one. Only one in my area is online sales only even though I could easily drive to the FFL address. Seems silly to buy online, pay ship, pay to transfer it to an FFL 30 miles away.

I was hopeful there would be one at the big gun show last weekend, but no dice.

I bought one and it is a real pleasure to shoot. Much like a stout 357 load as far as recoil.

Gosh, I just might have to pick one of these up!
