Do you get the "Glock Smiles" like you do in 10mm?
My neighbors dog has been telling me some very disturbing things lately. I just ignore him because everybody knows that dog is crazy.

It is possible if pushed too hard, remember the 45 is lower pressure to start and even at Plus Pressure they still don't get into the 10mm territory.  In my range pick ups I have seen case expansion very low and near the extractor cut.  Therefore I use my LEE FCD as a pass through sizer and it works to improve reliable feeding.

The SAAMI MAP for the 45ACP +P is 23,000 PSI.

It is pretty unlikely unless you are way over pressure.

Cartridge brass has a yield strength of 11,000 PSI to 65,000 PSI, depending on temper.  Even moderately tempered brass is strong enough in the head region not to yield at 45 ACP or +P pressures.

45 Super, maybe, at 28,000 psi.  And 460 Rowland at 40,000 psi would be pretty similar to 10mm.

I've never seen Glock smiles in .45 cases out of a Glock loaded by me or in factory loads. .45 acp is a pretty low pressure round.

Not seen it either..... and I was pushing a 230gr rn into the 45super load range by the books

I've never loaded them up very hot, so it hasn't been an issue thus far
