I use their 9mm for plinking and it fine.  I have no clue how it does on 10mm.  Arms Unlimited

I haven't used any of their factory ammo in a long time, but if I remember correctly is was decent midrange ammo. The last batch of their 180gr FMJ bullets I loaded a couple of weeks ago were excellent. Almost could have used them as check weights as they were that consistent. No more than .2gr off in either direction and I weighed about a dozen per bag of 100. $14.75/ box of 50 is a really good deal for those that don't reload.

I haven't had the chance to document any Magtech 10mm ammo.  The others that we have documented were good to go!

It should be the same as S&B.

S&B is made in the Czech Republic and Magtech is made in Brazil. They are both owned by CBC. Might not actually be the same. I've always found Magtech to be cleaner than S&B.

Magtech is going for $17.99 a box at my local Sportsman's Warehouse.  If you're a Veteran the 5% discount drops it to $17.09 which is 34c a round, not bad for a small quantity.  Good brass for reloading too.

Same price for the S&B (that's advertised at the same velocity of 1164fps) but the Magtech I bought impressed me enough that I'll stick with it.

Thinking about buying a case of these for plinking ammo down the road once I reopen the flow of money. Has anyone had a chance to chrono these? How do they feel being shot? A thousand cases of 10mm to reload is not a bad thing although I'd probably only be able to scavenge 600 or so.

I put 200 rounds of the Magtech through my Glock last month in one session to test it out as an option for a "cheap" training load. No issues at all. They seemed quite accurate and not particularly dirty. They actually felt a little warm for being budget factory 10mm ammo, so the box claim might be correct. I shot some Doubletap 180 and 200 fmjfn to compare the impulse and couldn't tell any. Of course DT's were probably 300fps slower than advertised lol.

But yea I liked them enough to order a 1000 case online this week. I'm going to attend a well known tactical course soon, and for sure be the only guy using a 10mm. They require 1000 rounds of brass case factory ammo, no relaods or Russian steel. Id say the Magtech is g2g.

I too have used the MAGTECH quite a bit and find it to be good stuff. Never had any issues with it. The best deal that I can find right now is SGAMMO. 10 boxes of 50 + $14 for shipping.

Anyone else have a better price?

Got two boxes left out of a case of Magtech, great ammo, zero issues for me out of a G29 and a G20

Still hoping to find somebody that has run the magtaca through a chronograph. Just curious. I will still keep shooting it because it's accurate enough and clean enough and cheap enough. Actually in my opinion, it's the best value out there
