Some new guy gun pr0n as promised

It may be a little disturbing to some of you, as there is a midget in the pics ${$default_cheesy_smiley}$

The New to me g20c with it's short&weak little brother the g22c. I have had the .40 for around 4 years, it was a police trade in with less than 500 rds through it at the time and lots of holster wear. I have carried it everyday since. The G20c according to the serial number came from the cali compliant box with a 10 rd mag. Got a couple 15 rounders for it too. I have a pile of fun parts coming fof both guns from Dawson Precision and Glock. hopefully they ship this week.

Is the ejector bent on the one gun. Or am I looking at something else?

the ejector on a G20 looks bent, but its designed that way. The thick slide width requires the ejector to bend inward a bit to reach the case head of a 10mm round as its being extracted out of the chamber.

Interesting. My G29 has a straight ejector. Not sure why a 20 and a 22 would need a different shape ejector either. But if it runs, it runs.

To be honest, I haven't shot it yet. it was supposed to be taday. I asked a buddy of mine and he is a Glock Armorer. if it don't work, I will tweak it and drive to his place to give him a head slap ${$default_wink_smiley}$

Looks like the Glock 20 has the bend to place the ejector in the same path as the .40, where a straight ejector in the 20 would serve a 45 acp.

Just seemed odd to me since my Glock 29 doesn't have it.

Not sure. If anyone wants to look at their G20'S and see if their ejector is bent and report back, that would be awesome ${$default_cheesy_smiley}$

Yes, my g20 also has the angled/bent ejector. It was that way new when I removed it from the case.

I am sure it is because the frame is shared with the G21. Just seemed odd since the 29/30 also share a frame. Maybe you could ask your Armorer friend why they are different.

Just the engineer in me. I always want to know why these things are different.

G21 would need it straighter, due to the wider diameter case

Yeah, but why then would the G29 not have the same angled ejector. That is my real question for the armorer.

I will ask him. but could it have to do with the angle of ejection from a smaller gun??
