I read an interesting article about folks wanting an additional safety devise when holstering their Glock pistols, and thought, that's not a bad idea. Any of you use these, or have anything good, or not so good regarding this unit?
Thanks

I have not used one on a Glock.  I have a couple of S&W Shields, one in 9mm and one in 45 ACP.  They have them.  I don't care for them.

One of the big strengths of the Glock platform is the simple manual of arms.  We tolerate a chunky grip and very mushy, though predictable, trigger because it is as simple to use as a DA revolver.  The manual safety takes that away.

If you want a gun you can safe before holstering, there are other, better, options. The Sig P229 is a great example of a better option, as is the HK P30S.  THese guns offer a safety/decocker and have a trigger that is light years better than the Glock.

just thought it was a fascinating device that might work well on my G30, but yes, there are lots of other options
Thanks
