So is DoubleTap and Buffalo Bore pretty comparable to Underwood?
I have shot quite a bit of Underwood's stuff, but none of the other folks
Thanks

Although some they advertise near same velocities, the tests showed DT as being less than advertised in some where UW and BB were closer to their numbers.

Any of them should perform well overall, however in my opinion Underwood has shown the best quality control which translates into consistency and reliable performance, then BB would be my second choice.  But being a long time handloader, I roll my own ammo and as such, I have matched what they were loading with my own ammo with match grade hand weighed powder charges.

If you study the pull-down sections, you could see what they were loading with and all the pectinate info that make them what they are...

The force is strong in Shadow and his counsel is wise.   :))

It's a rare occurrence to hear about Underwood missing it's advertised velocities.
Buffalo Bore usually pretty straight up too.  BB also provides detailed ballistic data for most of their rounds depending on initial muzzle velocity.  Like Underwood, often reporting which firearm advertised velocity came from.

DoubleTap a bit different situation.  As documented on this forum multiple times:  Their stuff was right on the mark; then for a long while ran well below the published & advertised velocities.  However, of late there have been several tests that showed them much closer to advertised velocities.  For awhile they had a well earned reputation for fudging on the advertised velocities so maybe they're trying to clean it up.  Several recent posts here about QC issues though.
I still pick up DT and shoot it sometimes if right sale comes along but UW & BB still a little more dependable IMHO.

PBR Ammo and Reed's Ammo is loaded really close as well if you should want other options.

Underwood was on par with Buffalo Bore but Underwood backed up on some loads to safer levels.

Nevertheless they are still hot loads. BB 10mm 180 will do 1350 fps while Uw backed up to 1300 fps.
How powerful is 10mm? Well, see those craters on the moon?
