Easy Peasy  ;)

Here's the article with all the details;
http://razordobbsalive.com/razor-dobbs-kills-two-cape-buffalo-10mm-auto-pistol-interview

Few quotes from the article;

"He was dead within seconds. I couldn't believe it was so fast. I have shot numerous Cape buffalo with the rifle and I have never seen one die that fast."

"Both 10mm shots on the buffalo where about six inches apart and right in the heart. When we skinned the buffalo, we found one of the DoubleTap hard cast bullets about four inches under the skin on the off shoulder. That's killer penetration from a 35 yard shot."

"He ran into the bush about 80 yards. I heard crashing and then nothing. Tonie, Chris and Ann Marie came up to me and we waited for a while then followed him up. We spotted him piled up just inside the bush. He only made it 80 yards at the most. Amazing!........I couldn't ask for better penetration on a Cape buffalo. When I looked to see if the bullet passed through I saw this knot under the skin on the off shoulder. I knew it was the bullet. I got out my Outdoor Edge knife and made a slit in the skin and pushed the bullet out. The DoubleTap 200 grain Hard Cast blasted right through the shoulder, through the heart and stopped under the skin on the off shoulder!"

Besides that I believe he mentioned about 15 other species of game he's harvested with the 10mm.  Not bad, not bad at all! 8)
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

I remember watching that a while back. Hard to tell how much Dobbs inflates stuff since he name drops DT and DW constantly, and I'm not sure his DT loads are exactly the same as the ones we'd get, but it's still super impressive.

A 10mm 200 gran hard cast is a formidable round.

The trick with game like a cape buffalo is the stalk and having a good back-up gun in case the animal decides to "level the playing field".  Note that the author had stalked to within 35 yards of the beast before taking the shot.  That is really close to a large and dangerous animal.  My hands would have rattled my gun apart I would have been shaking so badly with excitement (and may a little terror :P)

Good article! Thanks for posting!

The meat to the story is well placed shots at a decent range, the hard cast bullets will punch through most things to go deep or pass through.

Cape Buffalo are tougher and thicker than hogs.  But the 10mm properly loaded and placed is vey much up to the task. ::)

Cast bullets are also a cheaper alternative to those expensive Solid Copper projectiles and even FMJ/JHP...Oh yea, lead alloy bullets, they have been used for years as the only choice in the past...
