my 29 was bot 10-15 yeas ago it has the finger grips nite sie?

Does it have the rail? or is it pre rail?

That would make it a second gen + right.  I am not super in the know on G29's, but I know the rail was added as a third gen modification.

Not sure when they put it on the compact models though.

Probably 2nd or 2.5 generation...

Sorry for the late response.

No rail and no finger grooves usually mean Gen 2.5 in the Glock world.

Can you let us know the letters in your serial number? My VCXXXUS G20 is Gen 2. It has no finger grooves and no rail.
