I think I would buy one in the 6" version,except they would have to lose the rail as I don't care for rails on a 1911, and give me a nice polished blue or even a stainless  change them 2 things and Im a player Wow that Federal Ammo is right up there with some of my reloads and the Underwood ammo that I use for Deer Hunting.

I like 1911s.  I have a Springfield 1911 Loaded that has given me years of perfect service.  I like my XDs 9mm and XD45

But!

If I had @ $1,700 laying around I'd buy a second SR1911 and a truckload of Starline brass.

Nice to have another longslide option, but the rail is a fail.  I could BUILD my own longslide 10mm without a rail just how I want it cheaper, I think.

Frankly I don't need a rail on a CCW, only makes sense on a bedstand gun.  So I'd like a slim Commander or longslide and a rail on a full size.

Light. Maybe a Surefire, Streamlight, or something similar. Comes in handy when walking in the woods in the dark.
