Got to fondle one at a gun store near Ashland KY.  It seemed to be a well put together example of the gun makers art.  As are most Kimbers.

Nice. The price tag would be the only thing holding me back.

I know I wouldn't want to fire this without hearing protection given the built in muzzle break. How many hunters wear protection when in the field? I never did and do not recall seeing anyone else who did so although I wouldn't have seen in-ear protection if anyone was using it. Personally, in the field I'd prefer unreduced recoil rather than the ear splitting blast, not that I'd be buying one anyway.

No way. I'll take my Witness Hunter with double the mag capacity and 1/3 the price.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  I like the concept, but not really the execution.  I don't see the need for ports on a 6" hunting 10mm, nor am I a fan of the bob-tail.  I know the bob-tail can make for a comfortable carry gun for some, but I like a fuller grip so typically opt for a factory or add-on magwell.

The Hunter set up in a similar fashion is more of a win.

I hope so.  Waiting patiently for mine to arrive.

When I saw it at my local gun store I had to have it!  They said it "just showed up" and they didn't even order it.  I traded my Colt Delta and a little cash to make it mine for hog hunting with my dogs. So far I have just sighted in the optic but havn't hunted with it yet because I dont have a holster yet.  I love shooting it and the porting greatly lessens felt recoil, especially with hot hunting loads.

I'm sorry, I have a couple of 1911's in 10mm, and you can only fit them out in so many ways. Come on guys/gals, let's see something original. The last original 10mm I've seen is the Grand Power and now that I have night sights on it I love it! Where is the originality ???
