Where does 10mm brass hide those little legs?

I have heard of a small radius firing pin stop, but not main spring housing.  Did you mis-speak or do I not know?

A guy on another forum was complaining about how far his 10mm was throwing its brass, I informed him that was MY brass and I live in SE. Michigan. First post from SE. Michigan

I find it humorous when folk talk about  how far 10mm brass fly's It doesn't seem to matter what brand of pistol it still fly's into the next county, state or country.  :)  Its got me wondering whats going to happen when I open the cylinder on the new Blackhawk kinda expecting to chase the little buggers around the range til the tire out :)  Oh my witness tossed them a good 25-30 foot frist time I shoot it I was like what the heck ....................went out with 50 rounds I think I'm lucky if I came back with 40 cases

I've started using a brass catcher, the net type.  I'm losing much less brass now, but its just one more thing I've got to lug to the pistol range, set up, take down, etc., etc.  :))

Just shot my new RIA Ultra FS today.
225 rds of S&B 180. I came home with 215pcs of brass, I love the desert!
30' away at 4:00 was where it all was going, in about a 6' radius.
You can't miss fast enough to win a gunfight

Stock G-20 gen4 next zip code but if you think 10mm is bad try 380acp out of a Walther PPK/S they fly straight for about 10 feet before hitting the deck and going into Neverland.

The Ruger LCP 380 when I was trying to develop a load threw a casing from the 5 yard line out to the 15 yard line.  125 grain cast HP doing 1037 fps.  I wish I would have found it before I squeezed off the second on that suffered a casing blow out @ 1038 fps...  :o

Now that the load is right these 125's are doing 815 fps.  :D

I hate losing good 10mm brass.  I have a large golf course like mowed area where I shoot my 10mms as much as possible.  My stock Kimber STII throws brass a good 25 feet in random directions. My Glock 20sf with a 22lb spring throws brass about 8-12 feet in a consistent area.  I have a large mesh tarp I put down in taller grass to recover as much brass as possible.

I try to use my newer brass at the range and older brass for my hunting loads so I don't fret as much when I lose them.
Late to 10mm but loving it!
