Running a little behind but manged to paint it inside and out today...
Front  3 windows which I still need to frame up...


Back side and doorway, when finished it will be on 5' 4x4 legs

Nice. In NJ we usually hunt deer from tree stands.

I've been planning something like this for 2 years now, just can't seem to get started on it, lol.

I want something similar, but bigger (big enough for 3).

This one the floor will only be 5 feet above ground level where I need it for hunting back in Louisiana.  My older one, I sold where it was when I left that lease had 9 1/2 foot to the floor.

Land is flat here and the box stand offers full concealment...

Made some more progress despite my brother being in town and us doing some things together...

Got door and windows framed & hung. Painted some camo designs to help break up the Box look...
Got the 5 foot legs just about ready to bolt on...

Careful with the 3 man box especially if out in the open. My son built one 4'X8" , twelve feet to the floor( beanfield) and its blown down twice. Despite multiple anchors. Funny thing each time it blew down it was in the opposite direction that the wind blew.
