100mm conversion to 357

anyone know if i can convert my g20 to 357 with just a barrel swap? if so what barrel do you recommend? i contacted lonewolf the other day but havent got back to me yet.

Lone wolf used to offer such barrels.  If you aren't familiar, look at 9X25 too.  It is the 357 sig's big brother like the 10mm is to the 40 S&W.

Bar-sto offers excellent barrels and catalogs M20-357 sig barrels.  They are a bit spendy though

The Glock will accept a barrel chambered in 357Sig and 9x25 Dillon, however the 357 Magnum case is too long as loaded. but the 357Sig easily will make the 357Mag powerlevel with some bullets.  9x25 can match and even exceed those levels.

Holy crap, 100mm will have some major recoil issues. Let me calculate. The recoil spring will need to be 8 feet long and 65 lbs.

I would say go for it!! I have a Lone wolf 357 sig bbl (stock length) to convert my G20. It works great. I have shot factory and handloads (XTP and truncated cones) with zero cycling issues. Need to do more accuracy testing but it's very bit as accurate as the stock 10mm bbl. I was also swapping between 10mm and 357 sig bbl (stock spring). The only issue I would say is with hollow points, slingshot the slide into battery vs pressing on the slide release to chamber the 1st round.  Good luck and keep us posted!

I think it was a 10mm length conversion Barrel chambered for 357Sig.  Seeing how 100mm is equal to only 3.936996" it would be too short for the Glock 20 because the barrel length is BARREL LENGTH: 117 mm / 4.60 in.  However the Glock 29 does have shorter barrel length (BARREL LENGTH: 96 mm / 3.77 in.) but is not interchangeable with the G-20.

Yes Lone Wolf Dist. used to sell conversion barrels for both G20 and G29.  The longer G-40 barrels are said to fit the G-20 and the 6" G-20 barrels fit the G-40.
