Are u saying the 10 mm fired off in the 45??

cgreth

Nope, the P220 .45 fired off the 10mm round.

Fed it through the .45 acp magazine.

chambered.  And detonated the primer.

Bullet went downrange somewhere, the nickel brass expanded to the full size of the .45 acp chamber and did not extract.   Basically the case looked like nickel lace after it expanded.  It split in about 10 places.

Scary stuff.

Well, I ordered the Simply Rugged Cattleman holster for my P220.

I think the answer is no, but can the P220 10mm be converted to .45 with a slide swap?  Also, will the .22 conversion kit work on it?

Since the barrel ramp on 10mm is larger. The frames aren't identical to the 45 version.
I haven't tried a full slide swap, but I am pretty sure there will be issues.
I am guessing the 22 could work, but I am not sure.

I called Sig last week about the 22 conversion kit. They said it would work with the 10mm. They said some kits are tight. They also said if I purchase a kit and it is too tight I could send the gun and kit to them and they would fit it.

Snagged one of the Lipsey Specials from my LGS over the weekend. Basically a 5", all steel, sig nite sights, but in FDE with black controls and black G-10 grips.

Shot fine today, very accurate and zero issues. Did have to push the sight over a bit as it was shooting to the left.

Good Lord but talk about POSITIVE EXTRACTION! It tosses cases 30-40 FEET. Had a hell of a time finding half my brass. Have to figure out something for THAT issue.

Like it...may send it off to The SIG Armorer for a trigger job. A little creep, hope it goes away as it breaks in.

I waited too long to get one. But happy with this model, exactly what I wanted.  Now to build a kydex rig for it. My project for next week.
