Glock 40 Dissapointment

Would you recommend the 40 over the 20? I am more worried about velocity than accuracy . The 10 as i'm sure you guys know is one of the few pistol cartridges that is still accelerating after 16" of barrel unlike the 45 or 40. unfortunately I have yet to find a good carbine. I found one in 460 Rowland and production stopped before processing my order.

For hunting or carry? If for carry I would do the 20 or the 29. For hunting take the 40.

I prefer the G20SF with the UMTactical mount for a red dot and the 6" KKM barrel over the G40.  You now have an easily convertible large to smaller pistol that handles two jobs better than the G40 ever will.  If I need a pure hunting handgun I get out the Redhawk 7 1/2" 44mag Hunter (rings on the barrel) that easily exceeds what the G40 will do.  The UMTactical mount slips on and off the pistol easily and is very repeatable.  I use it mainly for accuracy load testing with the Burris FFIII.

I took care of that rear site I mounted a Trijicon RMR.

Bayan, Dawson Precision MOS height sights are what you are after.  You can use them with a RMR or other red dot sight installed.

40 MOS about 2 months ago came with adj. rear sight.

Mine came with tritium night sights

Min came with the adjustable rear. I like them but prefer a more fully adjustable style. I use LPA's on my g35 and just got fully adjustable fiber optic sights from Williams. 41/2 group rested at 100 yards.

That just looks nice, like the Vortex was waiting for the Glock 40 to come out.
