Looking to buy a sub compact 10mm

I am looking for a 10mm sub compact that will shoot high power factory ammo and hard cast bullets without having to change the barrel,guide rod,recoil spring,sear spring and every other spring in the gun.Does such a gun exist ?

If carry, glock 29 is best choice.

EAA witness will shoot hot loads. Subcompact is not reliable enough. Other witness pistols are too big for most people to carry.

I shoot & carry a G29 w/a Storm Lake barrel it's a grand combination.

I am new to alot of the replacement parts but if you change barrels in order shoot hotter loads wouldnt you have to change recoil springs as well ?

compact conversions,S&W 4013,4014,4053,4054 rechambered to 10mm.
subcompact conversion,S&W CS40 rechambered to 10mm.

I shoot plenty of hard cast in my G29 with the factory barrel.  Slug your bore, watch your bullet size and use a good lube.

And, for a reliable gun, it is really the only off the shelf option.

how much you looking to spend???  Fusion has some nice pistols from 3.5, 3.75, 4.25" barrels in 10mm--  element ncomm, pro series commander, & officers model --- prices range from $1800-2700 though

To pricey for me, I am just going to buy a glock 29 and become somewhat of a gunsmith to make it function the way I want it to............

The Glock 29 is too 'chunky' for my tastes. I prefer the Witness Compact polymer in 10MM. 1" across the slide, and 12 round capacity. Hard to beat those numbers. Need to be careful, though about what you're buying. Some compact slides are rounded and some are rectangular with forward serrations. The rectangular is what you want. Plus, it looks way better! GD Italians don't seem to have much of a clue. LOL  It's best to buy off of Gunbroker, where you can see the actual gun you're getting. Aside from the Glock 29, it's the only other choice for a compact carry piece.

EAA website says it's 1.4" wide. Is the slide only 1" across?

Based on the how thoroughly you asked your question I have to agree with Ridgerunner.  It is not that you can't get away with it but an OEM G29 (only small 10mm I have experience with) with full power Underwood ammo was more than I could fully control. A lot more.

But let's reverse engineer the question.  What if you want to shoot a sub compact 10mm handgun that launches a 200gr WFN hard cast bullet at slightly over 1,200 fps with good control and accuracy?  Easy peasy.  There are a few ways to do it.  I have a G29 with the aftermarket 21# Wolff spring set, 4.5" Storm Lake barrel and +0 Pearce grip extension.  There are few critters that would not be slapped down hard with this setup.
