BlueDot vs Longshot vs Power Pistol, Which is best for 10 mm?

I'm sure this question has been answered before in many different ways. I am in Australia where data for reloading 10 mm using our ADI powders is lacking, the above are the only US powders I can get (average around US$ 45/lb), there is a lot of reload data around for these on many sites. Looking for advice as to the pros and cons of each powder before I choose, things such as,,, one is better for lighter projectiles, one is slower burning and not so snappy, economy of use, lowest pressure to velocity, etc, etc, etc. Any info to help make a choice would be appreciated. Powder has to be ordered and may take several months to arrive, plus a 5 hour drive to pick it up, so looking to choose just one of these powders, order a larger amount, and stick with it. Just a note on use, rounds will be used for hunting feral pigs, muzzle energy is important, bullet weights will be 155/165 grain JHP.

Power Pistol and Longshot are the same.... NOT the same powder.

But the same charge weights and performance... I think Power Pistol might have the edge with bullets below 180 grains, but I haven't tested to verify.

LongShot will put the velocity on the upper end especially with longer barrels being a little slower than Power Pistol.
Power Pistol is said to be flashy but seems to shine best being slightly faster velocities as barrel lengths get shorter than 4 1/2".
Blue Dot is a great powder for accuracy across many cartridges and calibers with various bullets...
Commercial companies loaded the Longshot to bring out best velocity with the 165, 175, 180, 190, 200 & 220 weights.
The commercial company Buffalo Bore used Power Pistol under the 155 gr Barnes TAC-XP (100%) which was the scariest loading I have ever seen, the powder charge @ 11.0 grains was compressed into a near solid pellet and makes 1450 - 1460 fps.
They are all very good powders in my handloading experiences.

Thanks guys for your advice, the Alliant powders seem to be cheaper, based on the load data available, especially for the lighter bullets, think I will be getting Power Pistol and just sticking to that for my 10 mm loading's

I agree that Power Pistol is great for 155 and below.  There is pretty good overlap in the 165-180 range.  And above 180 Longshot is going to be the better performer.

And I think Blue Dot is better overall for the entire 10mm bullet weight range, but is bested in any give weight by one of these two.  What I mean by that is Blue Dot will perform better than Longshot with lighter bullets, and better than Power Pistol with heavies.

thanks for making it clearer, looks like I might have made the right choice, not expecting to go above 165 gn bullets and will probably be sticking to 150/155 till the end of time.

I haven't used Power Pistol, but I like both Longshot and Blue Dot. Right now I'm using the Blue Dot in my 40 S&W and Longshot in my 10mm. You won't go wrong with either in my opinion.

I reload for a lot of cartridges.  The most versatile user friendly powder I've ever used is Power Pistol.  Except for the high end heavy bullet loads, Power Pistol is the one I use (Longshot for the heavy hot stuff).  If I could pick only one powder for everything including 10mm it would be Power Pistol.  There are other powders that are equally good but not on your list.

I'm just wondering why you are limiting yourself to the .40S&W bullet weights?  You're holding 10mm - use a real 10mm!   ;D

Bayan Dundee is in the land down under (Australia), he may have limitations that keep him at  particular bullet weight.
I have studied the ADI powders and data associated with them, yes they are sort of lacking but probably because they were never pushed to see just what is possible.

Data for the 10 mm over here is pretty pathetic, it is only there because AP70 is Hodgdon Universal,      AP100 is slower and looks like a better option, being equal in burn rate with 800x and AA#7,  contacted forums here for help but sadly there is little  experience here as only a handful of people have 10mm.  I'm sure they could be pushed to make a reasonable loading with ADI Powders,  but as a first time reloader without all the gear, it would be nice to have someone more experienced provide some data and velocity on ADI Powder loads they have worked up.      Maybe one of you guys over there in the land of the 2nd Amendment would like to have a play with ADI powders, or run it through your computer program and see how it looks and send me some generated data,   quite a few of what you use over there is simply just re-branded ADI Powders anyway
