All the 10's look within reason except the Cor-Bons. These were much stronger than what was tested before. I don't get it but hey....

The 260gr Devastators out of the Redhawk 7.5" barrel:

1436, 1455, 1415, 1456, 1456, 1512, 1457, 1459. Average = 1455.75 FPS/ 1223.20 LBS. Real fun to shoot and some pop!

American Eagle 240gr JSP:

1498, 1454, 1514, 1482, 1499. Average = 1489.4 FPS/ 1181.91 LBS

I may need to have my CHRONY checked out those numbers are little higher than I saw with the S&W Mod.29 8 3/8" barrel.
Other than that 1512 reading they were tracking fairly close...That was all hand weighed 16.2 grain powder charges of Blue Dot.  Some of my company had just left so I may go try and shoot some today...

You know the 1006 is such a good shooter but it's a damn shame mine shoots low and I can't adjust it. Can't wait to get sights on it!

REDLINE

As soon as I saw the Corbon velocitites I thought the same as you.  I'm impressed, I see them as an entirely safe load, but I do wonder why the decent jump in velocity since your last chrono results with them.  I understand some of the platforms had longer barrels, but it is still more of a jump than I would have expected.  It's practically to the extent that I would think they could rate them higher, but then again, in your first chrono setup they were much closer.  I don't know what to think, but I do know I'm happy to see better velocity than less with those 135 grain bullets.

As for PBR, yeah, they look real impressive!  Honestly I'm completely surprised.  Either that or your chronograph feeling charitable and gave all the loads a bump that we don't usually see.

Though the RZ-10 itself is really putting up some nice numbers.  The Hunter is too, but being a longer barrel I expect it more.  The RZ-10 just seems really efficient in the 5" of tube it makes use of.
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

Yea I will be monitoring YouTube for David's video to see what he gets out of his stock G20. Also Shadow said he was going to run what I sent him over his.

RTB-Right 2 Bear Ammo LTD 180 Gr. FMJ 1198 fps : Diameter 0.4275"  primer slightly flatten
PBR-Parabellum Research 180 Gr. FMJ 1354 fps : Diameter 0.4275"  primer slightly flatten
PBR-Parabellum Research 200 Gr. FMJ 1140 fps : Diameter 0.4270"  primer slightly flatten
MAC-Michigan Ammo Company 165 Gr. JHP 1265 fps : Diameter 0.4270"  primer moderately flatten
Ted Nugent Ammo 180 Gr. JHP ??? 480 fps : Diameter 0.4270"  primer slightly flatten

Underwood 135 Gr. Nosler JHP 1738 fps : Diameter 0.4325" @ the light "Smile"  primer GONE popped out!, case didn't eject.
Underwood 155 Gr. Hornady XTP 1503 fps : Diameter 0.4280"-0.4270"  primer slightly flatten
Underwood 165 Gr. Hornady XTP 1415 fps : Diameter 0.4275"  primer slightly flatten
Underwood 180 Gr. Hornady XTP 1326 fps : Diameter 0.4275"  primer slightly flatten
Underwood 220 Gr. Hard Cast WFN 1209 fps : Diameter 0.4285"  primer moderately flatten, case didn't eject.

Damn I forgot to add that they were tested in the S&W 1006 5" with the 22lb recoil spring...
The 135 and the 220 , cases didn't eject they were loose in the chamber as they must have been held tightly to the chamber walls as the ejection cycle started.  The sizes of the expansion shows they were expanded pretty good.
Today makes the second lightly smiled casing I have seen from my S&W 1006 chamber, the 135 Underwood and a 200 XTP SwampFox duplicated load.
