Three mags. All are working well except one does not activate the slide stop. But I am happy that I can fully load the Galco Miami Classic up
I also put a Wilson Combat 22# 1911 recoil spring in and it is shooting great with it. The factory spring felt very weak.

Was the Wilson Recoil Spring for the 1911 a flat wire spring?

Interesting. I didn't know the Bren took 1911 springs.

Interesting. I didn't know the Bren took 1911 springs.

So I asked an acquaintance who owns two BTs about recoil springs and he said he was pretty sure 1911 springs work. So I took the recoil spring out of my Delta Elite and put it in. Sure enough it fit. So I shot a magazine of low power PPU through it using the Delta Elite spring and it worked fine. So I ordered the Wilson Combat 22# which is what Wilson Combat uses in their 10mm 1911's. I shot 60 rounds of PPU and 10 of ARMSCOR and they all worked great. It was nice having the heavy spring. It feels more solid.

Sounds like a good tip. If you shoot anything more powerful, I would be curious to know how the setup handles it.

MJohn was that your video on FB looking up as you shot?  It looked to be running quite well if it were... ::)

Yeah, I'd be curious if it can handle Underwood Ammo. They sell full house 10mm rounds. That's all I carry in my 1911 10mm pistols. My EDC is the 140 gr Extreme Penetrator doing 1500 fps at 700 ft lbs. Oh, and I'm probably one of the few who didn't much care for "Miami Vice" (I only started watching a few episodes of Miami Vice starting with the second season) and didn't learn about the Bren Ten pistol until I read some articles about it and finally saw ads in Shotgun News for it. I've wanted one for a long time, but, didn't want one and only one or no magazines. I always buy at least 10 magazines for any new gun I buy. By the way, congratulations on the Bren Ten and the three magazines!

Due to how expensive the gun is and that there are just about zero parts, I will never put anything remotely hot in it. I know it was "designed" for the NORMA load, but still, I have plenty of other 10mm's that I can put underwood in and have zero fear of issues, or breaking something not replaceable.

I have shot a few of the ARMSCOR, which is a fairly weak load. But really that is about all I want to push. It will get mostly PPU, which is almost 40S&W power. It lets me "experience" the gun enough.

For super power stuff I shoot the Glocks or S&W 610

I almost felt like I was checking out some other guy's wife while I looked at that picture...  Great set up!
