I don't think we did any Cor-Bon. I requested these in my swap-out, so I will send one of these in the next round of ammo.

Interesting they put VELOCITY IS KING. They put the penetration number at 9-14 inches but many look for 15".

REDLINE

What will really be sad is if they can't reach the measly velocity they box suggests they should.
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

I tested them recently and they did unlike the BCSP's! Wonder if these are worth a look in Gel?

You got 1400 out of a 5" barrel?

I would like to see them tested in gel also.

I'd like to see it, too.  They started making their own bullets for .40/10mm in 2008 because of the component shortage.  Mike Shovel told me that they were very happy with their performance in gel but didn't give any numbers.

1456 FPS out of my Match 4.75" barrel. Looks like their best offering and why I chose that as a replacement  ;D

REDLINE

That's good to see.  At that, do you suppose it might still hit 1400fps from a G20 4.6"?  Glad to see they're giving an honest number (actually under rated in your barrel).

I'm Matchless  :( but plan on shooting some stuff over the F1 tomorrow. I want to do Underwood 220's out of the Hunter and was thinking about doing these as well. Should I do a couple of these 135's out of the Razorback?

REDLINE

Definitely.  It's been a while since you've brought up the Razorback, at least that I've noticed.  Does it usually not get as good of velocity as the EAA Elite?

It gets more being 5" barrel. The Match and 1006 are real close although the 1006 barrel is 5". Yea it's probably the best looking and most accurate of the 10's and I have developed a case of babying it  :o

REDLINE

LOL :D  That's a real dilema you have going on.

Out of curiosity, is the trigger anything special on the RZ-10, or does the EAA Match's trigger put it to shame?

Also, does the RZ-10 have an adjustable rear sight?

Besides that, I feel your pain.  It's like a couple knives I have.  I like them so much that I don't end up using them, even when they would excel at the task at hand.  In reality they are the knives that would make life easier, but I make life that little bit harder not using them.  But I digress.  I may have to curb that dumb habit and put them to the uses they deserve that they would handle with grace over other knives I use in their place.

I measured the pulls and my Match has loosened to about 2.5lbs. It's kind of too light and the Razorback is 4.5lbs. which is about where the Hunter is since it gets used little. The Match trigger has a little more take-up which the Razorback doesn't have. I also feel the Match could benefit with some shims at the edges to take up the left to right slop. It's like splitting hairs but the Razorback has the best trigger of the bunch all things considered.

REDLINE

I guess you actually get what you pay for in a Razorback.  I never knew if they are sold for the price they are just because of the Dan Wesson name, or if their was actually some meaningful quality there.  I suppose now I'm letting my ignorance of 1911s show.

Of course they look good, matter of fact IMO they are one of the best looking 1911s out there.  I just didn't know if the innards followed suit toward justifying the price tag.

Tight tight tight. First time out I wanted to throw mine down the range because it wouldn't run. The fit and finish is great and if you can get one for $1100 like I did it is hands down the best 1911 10mm out there.
