Here is hoping!  67XX seems to be the numbering sequence for SR1911 guns.

Well I went back to the distributor's listing for this and it's gone! Glad I copied it but it must have been an error for them to have put it up. Clearly not an imminent release, if ever. Odd though for there to be this much information for an instant.

I wonder what would happen if someone called them and inquired about that catalog number.

You know "I have a question about a product....Catalog number 6739.  Who can answer it?"

Might be an interesting and enlightening conversation.  Might also go nowhere.

I posted a detailed dealer inquiry to Ruger, including my copy of the distributor listing. I'll post any reply but I'm not holding my breath.

Yay!

Of course, I need another 10mm like a hole in the head.  OTOH, this will be my first single stack 1911 since I sold my Delta Elite in 1993.

Just looking...

Ramped bull barrel w/nitride finish
Full length guide rod
Bo-mar style target sights.
All the typical "upgraded 1911" fixins

Only think I would add is a nitride finish all over.  I like black guns.

But, I will suffer through.  Can't wait to see one show up in person.

The first one is already up on GunBroker:

My hand keeps reaching for my wallet for some reason..... $799 buy it now.....

I'm thinking this FNG might grab the first one on GB.
Ramped barrel and 70 series= ;D

Missed it. Somebody snagged it before I could get back to it. :(

It wasn't me.

Cause I found this one that was $20 cheaper via Buy Now.

But, here is another one already:

The relists so fast by the same dealer make me wonder how long I might wait...I bet they don't actually have them in stock.  But I could be wrong. (I hope).

BEEMER!

You paid too much.  The others have free shipping with buy now.   :)

I didn't need one but got one anyway. I'm trying to figure out if
there is a difference between need and want. ;D

This one seems to be the current price leader:
