HELP - Can someone with load software run the 10mm numbers...........

Basically I am asking (begging?  ) if anyone with QuickLoad and/or other loading software please check these. And also let me know where you got the program and pluses and minuses.  Probably will buy.

At 1.250" and 1.260" OAL

HAP 180gr Bullets

AA#9 (13.5gr)
Longshot (10gr)
Blue Dot (11gr)
BE-86 (8.2gr)

Pablo some of the numbers you are going to see from QuickLoads may scare you...Also not all powders are in the QL database.
Imr800X was one powder that didn't make the database, BE-86 being new may not be as well.

Here is the Blue Dot 11.0 using a 180 grain Precision Delta FMJ.  (while the pressures are low, people have seen SMILED Brass)




Maybe Someone can post screenshots of the loads using XTP if the HAP is not in the database...

While the 180 HAP is in QL's database I've found bullet lengths are usually incorrect. If you measure a few and reply with the length I'll run the numbers for you

QL can be scary accurate with bottle neck cartridges, for straight walled, not so much.

It's a useful tool, but has the capacity to be grossly wrong.

Yep the numbers that were show for the Barnes 155 gr TAC-XP over 11.0 grains of Power Pistol was off the chart...
QuickLoads pressure was shown as 147,749 PSI but the velocity was grossly over stated at 1850 fps.

In actual test this round makes near 1500, but only about 1450 - 1480 fps depending on the barrel in use.
Like I had mentioned before, this was the scariest load I had ever dissected and documented, with the powder charge being compressed into a solid pill.

I've wondered if Bromel's vivacity test for AA9 was off, or that's just how it predicts in the 10mm.

This bad boy is DI. It needs all the gas it can get, in fact it really won't run on powder puff 10mm bulk ammo. I've shot tons of 10gr Longshot loads, so not so apprehensive.
