Well if they're doing that out of a 5" barrel as stated... doesn't sound bad.  But I'll believe it when someone tests it

Ok ... let me know if you ever find this stuff up for sale.  If the site linked in the OP is doing commerce ... I couldn't figure out how to trade my money for the Black Label ammunition.

That said, I tried to buy for the novelty.  I have extremely low expectations.  I mean - this is coming from the guy that built a gorgeous motorcycle featuring both a radial engine (big displacement and heavy fuel consumption) and a fuel capacity of less than 2 gallons.

IMO he's an impressive artist.  I have no faith in a tool bearing his name.  They may go the way of the Black Talon with collectors excited to tell us how much they managed to sequester.

But, maybe it's an awesome load, driving an awesome projectile, available at a fair price - I'm just not willing to hold my breath till that promise proves true.

He got $1,000,000 from Honda to make a custom bike around one of their VTX engines. He made a POS CAFE racer. I do not mean that CAFE bikes are POS, I mean Jesse's Honda CAFE bike is a POS. It has an exposed disk brake that could cut your ankle off. It also uses an airbag for spring and a steering damper for a shock. I could have come up with something better for $100K (if I had access to the machines and tools). People started to see him as the idiot he is after that bike.

As for his ammo. I would buy it if it sold for $10 a box and it had reloadable brass.

Doesn't look like a comfortable ride for anyone...lord forbid it be in a wreck.

Cheaper than Dirt showed some at the cheapest price that I saw...

Thanks.  And I tried.  Graf refused to sell to me over the $.01 I'm short for their minimum $40.00 order.  Since they are asking double what I give for quality SD ammo - I'm not buying a second over a one penny shortfall.  And, last time I sent CTD a penny, they sent me back a RIA 10mm when they had the only examples in the country - that was their last penny of mine unless they work out another exclusive tempting enough to get me to get over feeling cheap and dirty.

IN this case I think Honda was the idiot he walked away with pocket full of money  ;D

Olgo

Man, that bike look like it's all engine. I'd bet it boogies like a bat out of hell.
How powerful is 10mm? Well, see those craters on the moon?

Yes they were, but I am sure it came out of their advertising budget, not their engineering budget. I am not sure how much TV and magazine advertising costs, but I am sure it isn't cheap. Giving clowns like Jesse James money to make a POS bike gets their name out to the public. Of course this time it backfired.

Shows like Orange County Morons got paid a lot of money to make bikes for different companies because it put that companies name in the publics eye for 1 hour (or 40 minutes not including comercials). If any company wanted to get 40 minutes of TV exposure it would cost millions of dollars. It was a rather cheap way to advertise.

I haven't purchased any ammo for Chronographing lately. I think I will get these and a couple of other untested rounds to wring out my 10's.  ;D
