What aftermarket mags work best in the R I A  10mm.   Full size

I don't have a 1911 in 10mm, but the general consensus seems to be Wilson, Tripp and Metalform are solid providers.  Also, remember that with a 1911 what works in other guys guns may or may not be happy in yours.

That's what I figured. Trying to narrow it down a little before I outlay $40 per mag.   thankyou for the input.

I have used Wilson, Metalform and MecGar in my RI 10mm. The Wilsons are the only ones that have been 100%.

All I used in my RIA 10 were Mec gars.  I did not have mag problems.  I didn't pay more than $20 for any of them.

I'd suggest not trying to hit your total count in one purchase.  Buy a couple of the cheapest you can find and give them a go.  If they run, stop looking and buy more.

The Mec gars don't run for crap in my Silverback, but I'm keeping them 'cause they will run in another gun, some day.

Mine has been 100% with Metalform and Mec Gar.

My RIA will not lock back on an empty Wilson Combat mag.  Metalform or Mecgar work fine.

While I don't have a RIA I do have a 10mm 1911.

I have factory Colt, Mec Gar and Metalform magazines for my Delta and all work great.

I tried some Wilson Mags as I have a bunch for my 45's. They sucked, I had problems with the last round, failure to feed and the follower. Wilson wasn't real interested in solving my problems either. That surprised me because in the past they were always helpful.
