I have made about 5-7 orders and have been more then satisfied with the bullets. The powder or others things seem high priced. But the seconds and "pulled" bullets are a excellent value.

This month they have a bunch of 40 cal bullets including a 500 pk of mixed HST 165 & 180 G bullets for 75$. I have found you need to be diligent, many times they will not actually list the brand but you can tell if your savy !!

I ordered mine!!  NO affiliation just helping reloaders out!

I ordered 2X500 of the 165/180 grain HST pulls from them on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 2:19 PM Mountain time.  The price was $74.99 each, with a 20% off all 40 caliber bullets plus 17.95 in shipping.  The total out the door was $137.93.

I received a confirmation that the order was packed and ready to ship 10 minutes later, and to my surprise the order was on my doorstep on Monday, May 8.  (USPS still doesn't even show the package picked up from the shipper.)

Box A contained 325 of the 180 grain heads, and 186 of the 165 grain heads, a 64/36 split.  This total is 511, which is over the promised 500 bullets ordered.

Box B contained 312 of the 180 grain heads and 206 of the 165 grain heads, a 60/40 split.  Again, 18 bullets over the promised 500.

The average of the two boxes is a 62/38 split, with 29 more bullets received than promised.

The general condition of the bullets is good, though they have not been tumbled or cleaned, and still have some case sealant residue on the bullet bearing surface.  I will probably tumble them before I load them to clean them up a bit.

it appears to me that American Reloading "counts" by weight based on the heavier bullet.  Both come out weight wise to 500-180 grain bullets.  The extra was just the difference made up in extra 165 grain bullets.

I usually load Nosler bullets.  Typically I can find them on sale for ¢15-¢16 each.  Right now Wideners has 180 grain Nosler JHP for 35.95/250.  Shipping on four boxes would add $25.56 for a total of $169.36.

These pulldowns seem a great option for a quality .400 JHP suitable for 10mm velocities.

Always a day late and dollar short.

Out of stock, and the deal is over.

On the plus side, between my recent orders from them and from RMR, I have 1500 of the 180 grain, and 500 of the 165 grain.  As well as a couple dozen of the 155's.  Not like I needed them.

The mixed hydra shok are still there at $59.99/500.

I loaded up 50 this am and the. Ullets looked great.

Only suprize was one single Barnes 9mm bullet mixed in.

I did not count my boxes but had about 80 pcs of 165 and all remaining 155. The Bullets I weighed where pretty consistsnt too.

Price dropped again to 59.99, and the code is back again "dealoftheday" for 25% off.  This gets them below 10¢ each for a premium projectile.

I ordered another 2K.

Thanks for the heads up on this website,CW! I just ordered 1k of the 180gr HST for $99.98 w/free shipping.  :D

I am on my 3rd 500 pk of the 125 fragmented HP bullets.

I wanna order another 500 just in case they are discontinued...  They are cheap, shoot well and should be safer on steel.

I load with with max 180 data. I haven't chronographed them yet but they shoot well.
