I was just wondering if anybody here has tried loading their pulled bullets? Pro's and con's?

The_Shadow

Yes I have had good results with the pulled bullets, awhile back I got some of the pulled 200 Grain Gold Dots that were part of 40S&W contracted ammo.  I have made several purchases and liked the products.  Most recent purchase was the 223 mixed lot.
The HST mixed lot were also good to go...

BTW, they also have new stuff at time in various calibers.  :D

I've had excellent experiences with RMR, and have shot about 500 of their pulled 180gr jacketed.

There's a few companies out there that offer pulled projectiles, and they seem to get them about the same time. RMR offers the better product.

Side note: Don't buy pulled plated bullets.

I saw where they had 180 gr. hydro shocks for sale.I guess I better buy some before their gone! Thanks for the response!

When they have them, You can get decent heads you usu can't get any other way ( like Gold Dots )
have tried, no issues, tho you will have to sort them by weight... Found a few odd ones in the bunch a while back

Im going to order 250 and see how it goes.Im starting to think I have an ammo hoarding problem.Lol. ;D.

American reloading sells various mixed lots of pulled FM/TMJ's for $39 shipped/500. Used several thousand of them with good results.

Personally I would pick the HST over the Hydra Shok, especially for full house 10mm loads.  In fact, I am ordering 1K right now.

Not to detract from my statement that RMR is a quality outfit, but American Reloading has 500ct mixed weight (165 & 180s) HSTs for $59.99 with coupon 20off40.

I've ordered from them a couple of times, bit slower shipping but a good experience.

This is my first time ordering from them... :D

I already ordered from RMR.I will check out American reloading next time.I have a lot of 12 gauge buckshot to load before I can get to my 10mm.

For anyone curious, American Reloading ended up being $12.05 cheaper than RMR on 1K of these bullets.  American Reloading had a 20% off, but they didn't have free shipping.

Shipped price on 500 was $5.06 cheaper at American Reloading.

Southrnshooter

Anyone know if American polishes the projos?  RMR says they do and their pic looks a lot nicer.  Not sure if that is worth the $7 premium.  However I did KILL my last tumbler polishing projectiles

I've ordered from both RMR and A.R.

From the appearance of A.R. pulled product, I'd say they don't make any attempt to clean them up.

RMR's pulls on the other hand... Very nice.

A.R. pull

RMR pull

Not that the condition of the A.R. pull is going to effect loading or accuracy...
