I have been backlogged with testing loads since I picked up a LabRadar chronograph last year but finally got around to accuracy testing some of the loads I had worked up for my 10mm pistols.  A little backstory - previously I had only Longshot to work with and hadn't stumbled on a good load for any of my 10mm guns.  Same story with 460 Rowland.  Longshot easily provided the velocity but accuracy was elusive.  I finally picked up some AA#7 and immediately came up with some accurate loads in 460 Rowland that brought the group sizes way down so I started testing some 10mm AA#7 loads in my pistols. I made a few extra rounds to send thru my ASR, here's what I got.  For reference the gun fed all 50 rounds flawlessly.  haven't had any failures in the last few outings.

All groups shot from a rest thru my 16" ASR rifle using a Tr-Glo red dot (no magnification). Range was 50 yards, red dot was zero'd at 25 yds so everything is above POA.  I will list what the round chrono'd thru my 5" Ria 10mm if I have it, didn't have enough loads or time to chrono them thru the ASR,  I was more interested in finding a projectile/powder combo that showed promise before gathering velocity data. I threw away the worst shot before measuring the group size.

1. 165gr Pulled FMJ over 10gr AA#7 at 1.25 OAL, Approx 3.5" group.  Came in at an average 1076fps in my RIA

2. 165gr Pulled FMJ over 10.5gr AA#7 at 1.25 OAL, Approx 1.75" group.  Came in at an average 1119ps in my RIA.  My ASR has always shot lighter bullets better than heavier ones.  This was my best group of the day.  I need to get the velocity up with a little more powder and see if the group tightens up.

5. 180gr pulled FMJ over 9.2gr AA#7 at 1.25 OAL, Approx 3.75" group. This load only made 1008 fps thru my RIA
6. 180gr SIG FMJ  Factory Ammo Approx 4.5" group. Was little disappointed with this one.

9. 180gr pulled FMJ over 10.5gr AA#7 at 1.25 OAL, Approx 2" group.  This was a promising load.  Need to chrono it.
10. 165gr pulled FMJ over 9.6gr Longshot at 1.25 OAL, Approx 6" group. This load made approx. 1300 fps thru my RIA. Note to self, find another use for the Longshot powder.

Few more for reference.  These were all from 30yds, standing.

The Wheelers 180gr load popped a few primers.  This was some specialty ammo that came with a 1006 I picked up a few months back.

Last one.  Sig Elite 180 gr FMJ.  Shot much better at closer range, of course the target was much easier to see.

Finally got around to some more testing with the ASR.  These are a batch of loads I had already run thru my pistols. Target was at 40yds, ASR has a red dot with no magnification. My LabRadar was giving me issues so I only got a reading on the upper left load.  The 155gr FMJ projectile over 14.4gr of AA#9 clocked in at 1704 fps at 5 yds. Other loads as follows (groups are based on tossing 2 flyers) -

Middle left was 155gr FMJ over 15gr AA#9 1.254 OAL, 4"group
Lower left was 165gr FMJ over 14gr AA#9 1.254 OAL, 2.25"group
Middle upper was 165gr FMJ over 14.5gr AA#9 1.254 OAL, 4.25" group
Middle was 165gr FMJ over 8.3gr True Blue 1.254 OAL, 2.5" group
Middle was 165gr FMJ over 8.8gr True Blue 1.254 OAL, 2.00"group
Upper Right was 180gr HST over 8.6r true Blue 1.254 OAL, 4.0" group
Middle right was 165gr FMJ over 9.0gr True Blue 1.254 OAL, 3" group
Lower Right was 165gr FMJ over 9.1gr True Blue 1.254 OAL, 3" group

All in all I can't complain.  The 165gr FMJ over 14gr AA#9 load netted me the same group at 40 yards that I got with my Match Elite at 15 yds.

Finally got around to some more accuracy testing.  Best groups so far out of my rifle ended up being 200gr JHP Nosler blems over Blue Dot. 30yds rested, 1st pic I 8.3gr, second is 8.7gr. I need to see if I can clean up the trigger.....
