7" KKM barrel, would you?

Would I?  I did!  And I added a couple of extra inches just to be on the safe side    For some reason, I keep thinking that if it stays like this for more than 4 hours...I'll need to see a gunsmith!

Where does one get a barrel that length? With the American made LW now cutting it's offerings in half I am at a loss and curious to see about a longer barrel for my 29. With a light mounted it's no longer compact and I enjoy the increased energy for sure. Dropped in a 4.6 inch barrel the other day and was amazed at how much the impact on steel was increased. For handgun hunting, if the POA POI wasn't too badly shifted and I wasn't worried about space and drawing, I'd take the longest barrel I could. I'm converted and convinced.

I have a kkm 7" in 9x25 Dillon. LOVE IT!  Low recoil. 1850 fps with 125 gr underwood ammo. Superior SD carry gun for me. Plan on getting a kkm 7" 10mm for cheaper practice shooting. Better than .357 mag ballistics and 21 rounds with my arradondo mag extensions in g40 glock. Love this gun. Everyone at the range asks wtf is that! Very fun. BTW my 13 year old son shoots it well at 20 yds. 10mm and especially 9x25 Dillon are superior to all other carry rounds. Plan on starting a YouTube channel after my chrono a gel blocks come in.

Model 40 MOS, KKM 6" barrel, Gen 3 24 lb spring set up,all equals extreme spreads less than 10 feet in my nuke 800x loads with a 180 gr xtp. My load has gone way over book spec and will not share it for that reason but this combination has met every expectation for me in the 10mm. People shoot this gun and are absolutely shocked at the power when it slams the metal targets, clear out to 115 yards.
