That is a great look'n rock.  Your link takes us to a single stack ... a 6" barreled single stack.

I very nearly bought one a few weeks back at a gunshow.  It was marked in my mind for return unless I stumbled onto something else tantalizing.  On the last row of tables I found a S&W 28-2 that was a little dog eared, but mechanically very sound and priced very, very right.  Bumped the Rock off the list.

The Rock is dimensionally identical to my Para P16-40/10mm.  I did this conversion several years back before there was a high cap 10mm 1911 option on the market.  I really like my Para but don't carry it as often as I would like in part due to not wanting a one off to end up in an evidence locker if I actually needed to defend myself.  I would not have that concern with the Rock, as I could just go buy another.

So, long story short, I think you need one too!

I have one and really like it. I have a Glock model 40 but as soon as I saw the 6" 1911 10 mm I had to have it. very glad that I bought it.

Thanks for your input. I would like to purchase one in the near future. Carrying one in condition 1 while up the mountains would give me peace of mind. 😁

Yes, I have the 52000 model and been shooting full power 1226 fps 200 gr and around 1400 fps 180 gr loads for almost a year now.

Definitely like it better than a G20, G4 that I had at one time.....almost no recoil even at full power.

It can shoot better than I can at 25yds and can keep 5 shot groups around an 1" and in the reloading section (cast post) I posted a 30 shot group.

In short, no issues and I don't water down my loads.

I bought my 52000 from Buds for a little more than $ 1,100.00

Some notes:

1. The pistol is hand fitted
2. It was design for comp shooting but I hunt with mine
3. Has an LPA adjustable rear sight and fiber optic front sight
4. Appromately 3 lbs empty and 3.6lbs loaded so it does get heavy
5. The enlarged ambi safety is easy to engage and can be a pain
6. Not a lot of holster options so all my holsters are custom

My range and OWB holster:

Diamond D custom leather chest holster is the way to go for hunting.
