Just got into 10mms last year and one of the ones purchased was a like new but now discontinued Stainless Target II...  I already had one in .38 Super that was one of the best out of the box Super or for that matter any caliber 1911 I've ever handled....

So this 10mm comes up for decent money and came with box and all the paperwork.  The original owner even sent for the free grip upgrade....

A few weeks ago was over on the S&W Forums and saw a classified add for Kimber Barrels... Turned out the guy was trimming down the heard and had like new .38 Super and .40 S&W barrels for $100.00 each. So I bought them...

Both dropped right in and after several magazines of each caliber with no glitches it makes a nice mulit-caliber package... The only "thing" is that because of the difference in size of the 10mm/.40 magazine follower to that of the .38 Super, the Supers won't lock the slide open on the last shot...  Will need to see if a new slide release can remedy that.

The reason for the "4-Caliber" header is that I also have a Kimber .22 Conversion Unit that I bought a few years ago for a whole $150.00...  It is blue not silver but for the price I can live with it...

Monday I emailed the seller to thank him for the great deal and that the barrels worked with no fitting...  He then tells me he found a bunch of 10mm magazines and one .40 all Kimber marked...we ended up making a deal on them also...

So this will make a nice travel gun...if you can't find ammo...it won't be the guns fault.....

With the .22 Conversion Unit...

Pulled the slide stop out of the .38 Super and put it in the 10mm...locks the slide back every time...

That is one sweet set up you got there RJM. I like the multiple calibers. Very unique.

Hey RJM:
Nice set-up you've put together
I too like having the versatility of multiple Calibers on one Frame
Here's my (10mm) Delta Gold Cup, with 9mm and .22lr Conversion Uppers:

That also explains the attraction of the Witness line of Pistols
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what came after HIM !

Very nice guns....

Most of my Supers will run 9x23 also and many have been fitted with 9mm barrels also.  Also have a Colt GM .45 with a .400 CorBon barrel and matching .22 Conversion Unit...

In doing some research I saw written that Kimber uses the same breechface cut for 9mm,.38 Super, 10mm and .40....  If that is the case then the Kimber .38 Super I have could also use all these barrels....  I may have also located a 9x19 barrel...

The list of calibers has expanded...

Did some test shooting of the 10mm with the .40 S&W and .38 Super barrels...both ran like a top.  Accuracy was excellent with the .38 Super and 10mm but poor with the .40 S&W...  The 10mm and Super were using reloads and the .40 some cheap 180s...so more testing is will be done to see if the groups can be tightened up.

Then tried the extra 10mm in the .38 Super...ran like a top...

9mm barrels have been ordered. One came in and will need a little fitting...  It is from RemSport who sells on eBay.  Then picked up a second used Kimber barrel off the 1911 Forums. That should be in late next week.

..and what are the chances...was over on eBay and there was a complete Kimber Stainless Target II in .45 minus the frame...  Ended up buying it.  Excellent condition but the barrel was a non-ramped so ordered a stainless ramped one again off eBay for $109 delivered.

One last thing I want to do to all three slides is install flat bottom firing pin stops to retard the slide opening to reduce the battering when using 10mm, .45 Super and 9x23...  EGW has the correct flat top ones but only in blue...  Fusion has stainless ones but have to make sure they can be used with the firing pin block system.

So once all fitted together the gun should be able to run:
.22 Long Rifle
9x19
9x23 Winchester
9mm Largo
.38 Super
.40 S&W
10mm
.45 ACP
.45 Super

Den... Nice setup...what are you using for a 9mm slide?

So how long until you work out how to convert one of them into a .41 Mag? :D

How are you able to run all of them without changing the ejector?  I've always been told the .38 Super and 9mm won't work with the .45 ejector.

I'm not answering for OP, but I am infering that since he started with a 10mm sized ejector, ejecting 45ACP is going to be his biggest hurdle.  Most manufacturers use the same ejector for 9mm, 10mm & everything between.

Durrr, good point.  For some reason my mind read he bought a .45.

I'm blaming the cold meds... ???
