I updated the Magtech 9mm data, as I reviewed the Magtech web site I read that they actually make there own smokeless powder propellants in house... 8)

QuoteOne of our major advantages is that our factory is fully vertically integrated with its own powder plant, primer plant, and the brass and bullet processing is completed in the ammunition plant to ensure the world's finest ammunition. While other ammunition companies rely on outside vendors to supply various components, Magtech houses all of these processes inside our ISO 9001 Quality System Certified Facility.

I updated the Underwood (Clays) with 4.75" data from yesterday. Also plugged in the powder data where possible.

That plus sign on the Geco bottom is interesting! Wonder if that helps make it so accurate?

That's just the way the bullet forming plug is shaped, but it is shaped like a X for X-ring! LOL ;)

This is the same powder that was also in the Underwood Speer 115 GD +P+.

The Underwood 124 Nosler +P+ JHP round would make 161 power factor based on the formula bullet wt. in grains X velocity divided by 1000.

Reading here shows some guys loading the Winchester AutoComp powder and some are getting to higher power factors with 7.2 & 7.4 grains; http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=109026

So COP and Underwood are using the same powder?

It sure looks like that they are the same, but I would have to test to be absolutely positive.
BTW, I put the Underwood 115 +P+ and the 124 +P+ powders right next to each other....
