9mm Ammo Factory/Commercial Ammo pulldown

Pulled another Speer gold dot 124gr +p and got a measurement without the sealant. Still the same at 6.7gr.  Accurate arms/ramshot shows +p loadings with a OAL of 1.105" and silhouette for 6.0gr and AA#5 at 6.3gr. so with the increased cartridge length I'm thinking AA#5. As with silhouette we've seen quite a few pulldowns use 6.8gr silhouette for +p+ loadings?

What's your thoughts?

I was shocked to see a ball powder inside the case, I would of put money on seeing BE-86. I know from experience using a 6.3gr charge with a 124gr gold dot I get 1240+fps from my glock 19. I tested these in my shield and had less case expansion than the factory stuff!

Wow! I had to register just to thank you for this wealth of information!  Tons of good info in this thread!  Most notably the muzzle velocities, bullet lengths, and the cartridge overall lengths.  Really helpful when doing your own load development and need to compare seating depths with published load data and your particular components.

Yes except the flakes are a little smaller and thinner for Bullseye and it is a faster burning powder than Power pistol...
