Federal 10mm HST?

I was looking at Federal's website and noticed this page http://ideas.federalpremium.com/submit-an-idea.php, I was thinking that if enough people submit the idea of them producing a 10mm hst and also insisting that it should be produced at original 10mm velocities, They might run with it and produce some. Now I doubt it will be cheap if they do but the idea of a hollowpoint actually designed for the 10mm is in my mind worth it. I think this is a idea worth a shot.

Told'm I'd be happy if they'd offer the Trophy Bonded loading in an HST flavor. The forms were interesting - I like a company that listens; we'll see.

Thanks for taking the time all, I know ruger has a similar idea submission process on their site. God knows how many requests they require to actually listen,It would be worth it.

I'd love an HST loading at their trophy bonded velocity. I've submitted ideas to them in the past. Will do so again.

I'd rather have a 200 grain Trophy Bonded load at 1,200 fps.... For a hunting load.

That said, a 180 grain HST at 1,300 fps would be pretty neat for the CCW crowd.

On 2nd thought, I think a 165 grain at 1,400+ might be a better idea.

165 would be nice, I was thinking strictly a self defense load. Anything they would make at real 10mm specs would be great thx for your input guys.

Way ahead of ya guys. I went through the proper channels a couple months ago to get a 200 grain Gold Dot and HST made for the 10mm. Lots of emails with ATK (parent company of both), I'm hoping for a good outcome. I asked them to atleast push the 200 to 1200 if Sig has a 180 doing 1250..

But the more the merrier, keep writing.

Didn't know Speer and Federal were owned by the same company interesting. I will efinitely got on with sending them some emails. Great idea thanks for doing that.

I submitted a couple days ago. I got a reply yesterday basically saying this has been considered earlier and No! Oh well!
