Well, I shot one, it worked great,  but I am scared of all the negative feedback back in the summer.
Have they improved on the issues people have had in the past?
We ran 12 magazines of sig and underwood through it and it never burped. I loved the recoil, it had a inexpensive simmons 22mag scope on it and I was hitting what I aimed at.
So do I give one a whirl, or do I wait and get an AR variant? I will admit I just want a fun toy, but I don't want to have to fiddle with it to keep it running.
Any thoughts from anyone running one currently would be welcomed.

  Thanks for your time, Russ

I am not link savvy. There are two older threads below in this subforum. One guy was having some real feed issues, sounded like a real pain.

OP, it would be nice to give a heads up when you make a major edit to your original post and title.  Now that I see it is TNW and not PNW as was originally posted, it is much easier to determine what your are referencing:

http://www.tnwfirearms.com/

I don't have one and probably won't buy one, so I can't really speak to them.

Feeding the 10mm cartridge in a rifle is not some simple thing.

10mmfanman

I had one in 10mm it fed flawlessly. The bad thing was every time I shot it I had to were a hooded jacket and cover the left side of my face because the powder burn and flash back was so bad. I called the company and was told that someone would call me back and never heard from anyone about it. I made sure the barrel was tight and I tried 10 different kinds of ammo and still the same problem. The trigger is a joke. I took it apart and tool marks scrapes and gouged spots on the bolt from the ruff hammer and un polished materials . this thing looked like it was thrown together and rushed production. I did have a 2 or 3rd burst last time I shot it and it burned my face a little bit. Honestly I became scared to shoot the dam thing. I sold it for a loss with full disclosure of the problems . I really hate this because I loved the rifle but I love my eyes and face better. Worst part is we had the dam thing on back order for a year before I got it. I work for FFL so I got it for cost so I didn't lose to bad but will never purchase anything made by this company or let it be sold in the shop I work for. Hope this helps your decision. Wish I had gotten a Mec-Tec conversion instead. Still might but this 10mm rifle experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. Literally had a mouth full of powder blow back lol

My Thureon Defense carbine rocks! Built like a tank. Shooting the 10mm out of it feels like a 22LR. It's also a tack driver.

\I went to the Thureon website, but unless I am reading it wrong, they don't make a 10mm carbine with a 16 1/2" barrel, just a pistol with a 10 1/2" one. Think I'll stick with my Mechtech CCU with it's 16 1/4" barrel.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

They do in fact make one. It took me several month's to finally get it
. But it was worth the wait..Real tack driver. I had to modify some 25 round Korean Surplus .45 Glock  mags..But it now has some Hi-cap mags that work fantastic!

Does it shoot as good as my Mechtech?

My Mechtech seems to do OK with my normal 10mm reloads. But the 1911 I use as the lower is ramped. Mechtech sells a doodad called a parablock if your lower is not ramped.

See. Doodad.  ;D

And really it's half pistol  :))

I was thinking from a full design perspective and AR perspective. Manufacturer/Design Difficulties are overcome-able but we be guinea pigs (Guinea Pigs Are Us?) .
