Thought I had hijacked the other thread enough even though I was shooting 10mm loads through a Kimber target 2 gun. Anyway that's why the new thread. I can't say enough good about the 135g but had so few I want to save some so moved on to 155g. Loaded all those up about 48 and am thinking about the 160g. Oh yeah loaded 155 at 7,3 of Power Pistol as I loaded some other 155g at 6,3 for a friend to shoot competition and he loves those but wanted a little more for me but this is 40 cal. Well you know 10mm shorts. Ha Ha.and running low on 10mm brass. ANYWAY now on to the 160g. I think I have about 50 or so then it's on to the 180g. I will load the 180 in 10mm brass .Well that's it am having fun here. :))  Craig

Got the 160g almost done with 8.3g Power Pistol and new virgin Starline brass. I hate to use it as once you shoot it it's gone. Well it's better than not using it at all i guess. :)) Did 50 or so and have some left over to finish. Then the 180's. Craig

PS maybe I'll just keep these around to look at, NOT

Got em all done except 8 as I ran out of 10mm brass. These were all loaded closer to max but real safe. I will update when I test shoot some maybe tomorrow!!  Craig

OK back from range and all went well. I shot 160g JHP Hydra shok and it was very accurate as were the 180g which I could feel a little more but similar. The loads were all Power Pistol and the 160's were 8.3g and the 180 were 8.5g not to different but the max was 8.7 so there you are. Shot some 9mm just to put it all in perspective so to speak. The Taurus handled all 9'svery well  All 10mm's were nice rounds and the Kimber shot all with no problems at all. The Taurus handled the 9 with no problems also.  Craig

Do you mean to say, you used more powder on a heavier bullet and less powder on a lighter bullet? That seems kind of contrary to my little bit of experience.

Yeah the max for the 180g was 8.7 and I just like 8,3 for 155 or so. Go figure.  Craig
