Bren 10 10MM

Anyone ever see a case headstamp that reads BREN 10 10MM?

I can't say that I have ever seen that head stamp.  Do you have any? Can you post a picture?  However RCBS did make a die set marked "Bren Ten"

Yes I found one case in a batch of  range brass i bought from a member on another site.  When I get back I'll post up a pic

I've never seen one either. Sure would like to see one, better yet have one!

I did a normal search and came up with the usual bren 10 finds but nothing on a headstamp.  I'll post it up in a week or so when I get back.

Here is a possibility.   In the late 80s, I can recall Midway selling specially headstamoed brass.   The examples I remember were .45ACP headstamped "Cooper .45ACP", and .357 Magnum marked "Jordan .357 MAG".  Maybe there was a ".Keith .44 Mag" also.

Perhaps they made some 10mm marked as you found also.  I don't remember any, but I didn't see the others I just listed until maybe 1987-88.  Since this was after the Bren Ten was gone and just before the Delta Elite appeared, the 10mm future was looking bleak. It's possible the 10mm brass had been made and already discontinued by the time I saw the others. 

Jus a wild guess.

Very cool!   Someone must have had a custom headstamp done...but who is anyone's guess.

At the time of the talks of VLTOR putting out the Bren Ten remake pistols, there was also talk of Black Hills producing the 10mm ammo.  While I have a copy of the box art work, I have never heard of it ever being produced...

Basically VLTOR has been saying yeah we are just experiencing some technological snags, but we are sure gonna put them out soon. Basically their website just left everybody hanging for 2-3 years, and the page for the Bren 10 never got any updates. Then the link on their web page suddenly quit going to that standard disclaimer page, and now looks like they FINALLY removed the link. I heard something to the effect that the guy in charge of the project was changed, then later that second guy left the company. Never an explanation to the people that were patiently (and impatiently) waiting for any new word. They stopped answering any emails a while back about the Bren 10. Basically it looks like the project is a no-go and they never said so to anybody.

Found an archive with the standard we're still planning on putting it out that strangely disappeared. This was the page that never changed in two years. And I was wrong, the link is stioll there, it's just that clicking on it takes you nowhere and it USED to take you to this page.

Yes, I continually put reminders on their FaceBook page to let them know that the 10mm enthusiast are still in limbo and waiting!
