First kill with G40

Took this doe this past weekend at about 40 yards with my G40 topped with Vortex 3 MOA. Sig 180 grain hollow point. The weather was miserable this weekend in Texas, but the hunting was fantastic!

We can see the entrance wound in the lower left shoulder; fill us in the details (don't overlook the specifics, we like them).
I'd say that was a excellent shot placement for 40 yards by the way.

Thanks everyone! Sorry for the lack of details, but they are a little boring I'm afraid. Hit the doe low and tight to the shoulder. Complete pass through. The deer managed to scamper about 30 yards before calling it quits. Very quick, clean kill.

Good deal, I had thought about trying the 180 SIGS on a deer this year but went out with the tried and true XTPs, glad to hear they worked well for you.
