Which hollow point do you want to see Gel tested?

Just a thought for the 220gr HC test;  How about a piece of 2x6 in front of 12" or so of gel block, then another piece of 2x6 directly after that with more gel block after that?

Doing what I can to help out with tests. Feel free to send him rounds of your choosing for testing. Get's kind of pricey one person donating all the ammo to do tests plus shipping. I offered my stash up for sale but no movement on any of the rounds.

I haven't loaded with AA#9 before so I'm not sure but I think I might be able to get close to 1,200 fps. Maybe I'll just load some up with 800-X, too. I know I can hit 1,135 fps with that.

You shouldn't have an issue reaching 1250fps with 800X since that's what Underwood is doing with 200XTP.  The disections of that specific load I just recently did show UW used 9.2-9.4 grains of 800-X, at a COL of 1.253"-1.258".  The only thing left to guess is the primer.

With No. 9, don't quote me on this, it's my understanding you can't fit enough in the case at 1.260" to even reach 37,500psi.  What velocity it is capable of topping out at is beyond me, though I think you're correct in that it should be able to hit 1200fps, and probably a little more.

Wow. I stopped at 8.1 gr of 800-X because that was the max in the Hornady book and that charge got me to 1,142. The AA#9 filled up the case at 12.8 gr.

Sounds like you can step up the 800-X some.  I would expect that 12.8gr No. 9 load to hit pretty close to the same 1142fps you got with the 8.1gr of 800-X.  Not exactly, but close.

I can't recall which 10mm platform you shoot?
