I Picked this gun up late yesterday after dark. Went hunting today so not allot time today to shoot many brands of ammo.

The gun has a really nice bronze finish. The VZ grips are great for a solid purchase on the weapon. Even in recoil the grips help keep that gun in the same postion in your hand and really help with follow up shots. They look great. Frame to slide was nice and tight, but smooth. Comes with two magazines. Both fit well and locked up tight but dropped free when disengaged. The trigger is outstanding break crisp with little noticeable creep. The front and rear slide serrations are sharp and well performed.
The front and rear sights are outstanding and very easy to aquire. I will change the light pipe to green only because I prefer that color.

I had some 180 grain loaded under max to try they had some issues mainly the slide was held open slightly and would not go completely into battery. But I will blame that on tight new gun and low power loads. When I switched to the 200 grain WFN the gun ran flawless and the accuracy with the cast bullets was outstanding. After adjusting the sights for the cast loads I ran two mags full at 40 yards and held everything in a 6" group. That was off hand by the way. The recoil of this gun seems so light even compared to the Model 40 Glock.

I am very impressed with this gun of course the 1911 Platform is my favorite. I have it dialed in so I will carry this gun hunting the rest of this week. Hopefully I get chance to put a nice tasty whitetail in the freezer.

I didn't even know about this gun until last week when I saw a review of it on realguns.  Looks like one awesome piece for sure.  How's the case support on it?

Ramjet, could you post a picture of the barrel's chamber with and without cartridge to show case support and feed ramp.
Thanks!

Looks like a rebranding on the Para Elite Hunter. I had some issues with mine when I first got it, but things are worked out now. http://www.dayattherange.com/?p=3930

I had great opportunity to shoot this gun an extended a out today at 50 yards. Gold 180 Grain over a top end charge of Power Pistol was very accurate at 50 yards off a rest. 3-4" groups with open sights single point rest seated. Everything ran well the gun is very manageable I think more so than my Model 40 MOS. Accuracy wise I would say the 1911 has the edge but then again I am a 1911 Fan boy. I really am liking this gun and the fit and finish is very appealing. Price point is excellent.
