After his wife had left him, Bill had become extremely depressed. Last week he went to the shop, removed all the combs from the jar filled with blue fluid and guzzled it down. Ten minutes later, he lay dead on the parlor floor.

At the graveside service, Bill's wife Carol mumbled: "It was a clear case of Barbicide."

No, I stole the joke from The Simpsons episode where Homer becomes an insanely popular hairdresser. He becomes so bored of listening to the idle prattle and gossip from the women in the Beauty Parlor that he unsuccessfully attempts suicide by drinking the Barbicide sitting on the parlor's service counter. (According to the company that manufactures Barbicide, it is fatal if ingested).

That's what inspired me to write the joke.
