I wanted to comment on this post just a bit for any who may have noticed that ECRS had some earlier posts that were removed.

ECRS posted in a couple different forums with the above link, and those posts were removed as it became clear they were commercial in nature from a new user.  I messaged ECRS and explained our policy and why the posts had been removed.

ECRS then engaged with Patriot and I, offered a sincere apology as he didn't know the rules posted in our classifieds section and asked how he could get word to our members that Allison Supply was rebranded as East Coast.  Patriot approved this post to that end.

Speaking personally, I don't generally buy once fired 10mm brass.  I buy starline in bulk a couple times a decade and call it good.

That said, I have been impressed with how Chris at East Coast handled this.  If his demeanor in our dialogs is any indication of how they do business, and I imagine it would be, they are deserving of a look if you have need of brass.

Everyone has to spend the way they feel is best.  For me, in comparison to a known quality for less than $25 per 1000 difference, the jump to Starline new brass with free shipping is a no-brainer.

I blew up a Glock with brass that wasn't suitable for reloading (PPU headstamp) and I hate to think of preventable accidents that are easily avoidable.

Just today I placed an order for 9mm Starline brass, and once fired 9mm is dirt cheap.  I just have learned the hard way that mixed headstamps from online suppliers imparts an element of risk.

Just my opinion.

Yup, I don't mix 9mm either. If you look around you can sometimes find lots of once-fired same headstamp 9mm from police ranges for $25-30 per 1k. I have 5k federal cases this way that were all fired from berettas apparently (not a single striker fire mark on the primers).

First of all, I have reloaded LOTS of PPU brass with absolutely no problems, so to put out a blanket statement that it is unsuitable seems wrong to me. Of course every one of my 1911 10mm pistols also has a fully supported chamber, unlike your Glock. Maybe it's Glock that is unsuitable. Maybe that is why they say their warranty is void if you shoot ANY reloads with it. Who knows?
