November Election

In every election I can remember, and that goes back a bit, I have heard one flavor or another of the "sitting president won't vacate the office" conspiracy.  There are lots of things the american people will just roll over on, but thanks to George Washington a president not leaving office at the end of his term isn't one of them.

There is no provision that a person under indictment can't take office.  They me immediately be impeached, and if convicted then the sworn vice president would take office.  If he/she were also tainted and convicted in an impeachment, then .... and so on.

Donald Trump is very nearly my next to the last choice for President.  In point of fact, I personally WOULD vote for Hillary, who I really can't stand, over Donald under two conditions.  First, I would need clairvoyance (not assurance as she is extremely two faced) to see a future where she did not support gun control legislation or executive order and second, clairvoyance to see that her supreme court nominees are truly neutral and open to facts in gun law challenges.  Of course neither of those is possible, and I have already lived through Clinton gun laws.  Thanks to the makers that they had expiration dates.

So, I will vote for Trump.

And he will lose anyway.

Here is my conspiracy theory.  I think Trump is secretly a democrat supporter, and he is deliberately and intentionally sabotaging the republican party in this election. (not really....But more believable to me than Obama not leaving office) :P

The outcome of the POTUS is scarier than Obummer's last 8 years.  The SCOTUS is going to be very interesting to see who fills what places that exist.  This election cycle will make or break the America as we know it, as our rights will be at stake and could result in a total civil war or if the election is deemed rigged, even a war against the government itself...

I will trust in Trump's attempt to make America Great before Hillary's certifiably corrupt practices with the current system.

Can Trump win?

Maybe.

Unlikely.

But we must hold both houses of congress. If we can do that,  Hillary is a lame duck for at least the first 2 years, maybe 4. Then we can put up a REAL candidate against her in her reelection bid.

A real candidate?

Who?

Not McCain, Romney, Jeb, Cruz, or Sarah "the dummy" Palin.

As for a Civil War - I doubt it. People in this country are nothing but a bunch oh whiny cowards. Just like any phony, they will get the job done as soon as someone else does it for them.

Pretty much spot on. He's the farthest from a conservative, just a megalomaniac who showed how messed up the Republican party has become. GOP owns the problem. Needs to split into two parties with clear agendas/platforms and then just be "allied" with each other to beat the Dems. That's the one good thing that may come out of this Trump fiasco: it blows up the republican party.

Hope you're wrong.  If the Repubs split, Hillary wins.  If she wins, and appoints several SC justices, we can kiss the 2nd Amendment goodby.  Game over.

I want to see the debates. Trump will says some really stupid junk and Hillary has one of her frequent brain seizures or her handlers will have her so loaded up on Valium she will talk in circles.

Whenever almost anyone says what's really on their mind, and what they really think, it's almost inevitable that they will say some stupid things, or some outrageous things, or at the least, say some things that can be easily twisted to sound much worse than intended.  The alternative, that we've all been getting from almost all of our politicians, is to be fed nothing but "verbal pablum".  I'd rather hear some stupid and outrageous than verbal pablum.

I agree Mike. Hillary may need to be propped up more than just by CNN in the usual way.

I will say that if Trump loses I will have lost faith in the Republican party for good. All those so call Republicans who are not backing him and bad mouthing him have lost sight of the fact that the American people overwhelmingly put him where he is today, and they are going against the will of the American people. I will switch to a 3rd party and never vote Republican again as they have lost their way and no longer represent me.

Oh, I understand the implications of Hillary winning. And I don't support it at all. But, the Republicans no longer are conservative and have completely lost all that Reagan did for the Party and Country. They haven't been for the last few elections. And to make matters worse, they no longer have a clear platform. Educated middle class white voters were behind Romney, the less educated were not. It is the opposite today with Trump. You need both, as the Republicans have alienated African Americans and Trump is at record lows with Latino-Hispanics. That's the demographics and basics behind electology. Why is the White electorate split so much on the past two candidates? Because those two candidates are highly inconsistent with each other, and neither is a Reagan Republican.

GOP implosion has happened, but the reconstruction will not happen in time for this November, definitely not with Trump as the hope to accomplish such a thing. And to be honest, I don't want that liberal to be anywhere near the formation of a Party I would support into the future. Sure, stoopid says is better than stoopid does, but neither is a foundation on which to build a new Party for Conservatives.

Liberal progressive-ism is rampant.

The bottom line is that anyone who does NOT vote for Trump will be helping put Hillary in the presidency, and will be helping destroy the 2nd Amendment.

I am a naturalized citizen. A Latino.  A legal immigrant.  I voted for Reagan as soon as I became a citizen at 18.  I'm voting for Trump.
I am a veteran of the U.S. Army, the CT Air National guard, the U.S. Air Force Reserve, and even the U.S. Civil Air Patrol. I'm voting for Trump.
During college I was commander of the Cadets at my University ROTC program.  I'm voting for Trump.
I was denied membership in the Boy Scouts of America, because in 1971, and living in Boston when I wanted to join, they didn't take "Spics" in my local troop.  I'm voting for Trump.
I'm a life member of the NRA.  I'm voting for Trump.

WHY?

Because he will build a wall and try to stop illegal entry into the USA? Yes.
Because his mother and two of his three wives are immigrants? Yes.
Because he was Commander of Cadets at his military school? Yes.
Because he will make our so-called NATO allies pull their own weight for THEIR defense? Yes.
Because he has already given us the names of who he will appoint to the next 5 openings in the US Supreme court? Yes.
Because he will call out China and hold them accountable for their detrimental policies on our currency and technology transfer? Yes.
Because no one has bought him, and he owes nothing to anyone politically? Yes.
Because he is calling out the Clintons and the Bushes for what they have done to us over the last 20 years? Yes.
Because he is a life member of the NRA and so are his kids?  Yes.
Because he's taking a 99.9% pay cut to be president? Yes.

Is he perfect? Does he say the same stupid stuff we say when we have a few beers together? No, he's worse.  He says it on national TV.

We all complain about Washington D.C. and we all say throw them all out.  Then one guy comes along who doesn't care about any of the status quo and we freak out.

Trump may lose, but not because of me.  It's because the silent majority doesn't register to vote in time or stays home on election day.
I have a Trump sticker on my Chevy truck and my Chevy Volt.

Stop whining about not having the perfect idiot in the White House. Your vote matters, and your opinion matters. This election really matters.
Put a sticker on your vehicle, wear a pin.  Convince your buddies at work to get the masses out for this guy.

Our Nation depends on you now.
