I am thinking of adding another 10mm and have it narrowed down to the witness Stock 2 and the witness elite limited ( I think). I already have a stock 3.
It would not be for competition but a range/ carry/ maybe some hunting. Price difference would be about $160.
If I went with the limited the first thing I would do is take off the mag well and put on full size grips.
When I carry the stock 3 it's cocked and locked, but I still am not 100% sure I want the single action only. Don't really know why. I have held both and like both.

Which witness and why ?

Since i plan to carry the 6 inch is probably a little to much.

Here's how I handled that:

5(4.85)" Longslide for the Range (can't legally hunt with it here) and the 3.6" Compact Upper for my DtD Carry
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what came after HIM !

...be too far from your train of thought to consider?  14+1 capacity, SA/DA, and NOT expensive--mine was about $450 at CheaperThanDirt.com.

I sure love mine.  In fact, it's the only 10mm pistol with a small-enough grip for my medium-sized hands, and it's the most-accurate pistol I've ever shot.

I agree with the Witness FS comment on accuracy for the price.  My witness is really accurate, and I paid 400 bucks new.

My next dream gun is the Witness Elite Limited Pro.
Not sure how much more accurate it would be for double the price.

Actually that would be a great thread for us spec- and stat- hungry shooters:

I would like to compare all 10mm pistols by group size at 25 yards divided by street price using a standardized ammo, maybe a factory range ammo like the Armscor product.

That would truly be a "bang for your buck" comparison across the board.

Members on this site could each contribute their bench-rest data and we can average.  My gut feeling is that there will be minimal gains in accuracy above the $500 mark, and maybe no statistical correlation with purchase price at all.  We could have three classes, the under 4 inch, the 4-5.9 inch and the 6 inch+ classes and compare.

I leave that pipe dream to our esteemed moderators, but if there is interest I can start gathering data.

The SAO trigger is that much better. It's a Match or Hunter for you at this point.

That's what I was looking to hear. I think I will be getting the elite limited.

I have a 9mm and 10mm Limited. They both shoot great. If you aren't going to use some of it's features or like the magwell... the Match gets you most everything else with the trigger for $300 less.

I would have to buy an ambi safety since I'm a south paw and even though it is just appearance, I already have a couple reverse 2 tone guns.
What else is different between the 2 besides safety, finish and mag well ?

Intercooler

A bunch! Frame, trigger guard shape, barrel type, drilled for optic mount, sights and full length dust cover.

Well I bought the limited. Hopefully it will get to my FFL by next weekend. I have been watching these for awhile and got it for what I think is a great price.

How much are they running these days? I bought both of mine from Runzos, one after the other for about $1030 each.

You got a really good deal. They have all the buttons and whistles for sure!
