Who has the highest capacity 10mm magazines?

I'm in the research part of building a mectech 10mm and am looking for the highest capacity frame/mag combo to accomplish this.  I've wanted one for a while, but have really gotten into the 2-gun comps and switch .223 to 10mm or 45acp on the Dillon 650 is a royal pain.  If I can make a hi-cap 10mm mectech carbine to go along with my Delta Elite, reloading will be a breeze, as well as much less $$$$$$ to reload .223.

I'm not really a Glock guy (don't own any now or previously), but if thats the highest capacity.....Glock it will be.

Thanks, Tracy

RIA/Para style hi-cap 1911 frames will accept 16 round mags.  The triple-K mags for these guns hold 17, at least the three that I have.  This would give you 17+1 capacity in both the carbine and handgun.

You can also use the KRISS Glock 21 mag extensions for a Glock 20 magazine.  You have to relieve the inside of the base a bit and play with the springs but the alterations are quick, to affect the ability to revert the mag to standard 15 round and are well documented on Youtube.  I get 31-32 rounds in mine.

Does anybody sell the already converted Glock mags?

Going the "Glock way" would by far be the cheapest way (I'd buy the whole gun G-20) and do the reduced trigger pull conversion.  Thanks Tracy

Not that I know of.  I did three of them in about 30 minutes.

The G21 is the 45acp, the G20 is 10mm..... the G21 conversion works ok with the 10mm rds?

Looked it up and they sell the already put together mags $67....I can live with that.

We should be going to settlement on buying a rental property in the next month, so no big expenses til thats done.   Really leaning towards the Glock at this time.

The already assembled ones use G21 mags.  That means G21 feed lips.  Not sure that will be reliable.

TSP45ACP

Yeah, I'm curious about that......I use 45acp mags in my Delta with 100% reliability, but Glock mags are plastic (aren't they?) and not sure how stiff/tough the mouth/feed lips are.  Tracy

Plastic with metal liner esp at the feed area

Perhaps another member here has used G21 mags for 10mm and can comment.

They work, but the lips need to be rolled in a little. If not, they will load (most of the time), but a simple bump and they squirt right out. Comical, really, like the snakes in the peanut can gag (except the snakes are easier to find). These are with 13 round mags. I have no 10 round mags to try, but they are probably the same.

TSP45ACP, I would suggest buying the KRISS kits and squeezing the springs and relieving the edge of the magazine body at the base.  Lot more forgiving than altering feed lips in my experience.

Good advice. I have a couple I modified only for my range bag for use as either 10 or .45, although I would not place them into "service" as they are less reliable for either caliber. I have twice as many .45 (former on-duty carry), as 10mm mags.

Watched a couple of youtube vids......doesn't look like rocket science soooooooo, once we're through with the house settlement, this'll be my next project.   Thanks for your responses.

(hopefully I can pick up a decent used g20 at a good price)

Most likely Glock magazines will be your best option. They make an extension for Glock 21 (45ACP) magazines that almost doubles the capacity, but I don't know if it will also work for G20 10mm magazines. Den posted a link that shows the extension on a 10mm magazine.
