The Associated Press reported that a Trump family foundation gave a $25,000 donation to a political group supporting Bondi's reelection after she solicited the contribution.

The donation alone appeared to be a violation of rules governing political activities by charities.

The timing of the contribution also raised questions: The check arrived four days after Bondi said her office was considering joining a New York state probe of Trump University.

Her office declined to join the suit against Trump after the check came in, citing insufficient grounds to proceed.

From all the accounts that I have read about the "Trump University" lawsuit is just political theater brought on by a law firm that is made up of Bill Clinton supporters and has no merit or chance of success.

By the way, Trump has always made contributions to Hillary's campaigns also.

Trump never dodged the draft. He received deferments while attending college like 15 million other Americans. When he was done with college, he went right back on the draft list, and could have been drafted starting in 1968 if they had made it to his draft number. However he would have been one of the last ones called up due to medical reasons. He was still draftable, but only if absolutely needed.

Trump never violated the Selective Service law.

Except that's not the way it works. You don't bring a doctor's note down to the military entrance processing station and get excused from the draft. You still have to be examined by military doctors. My grandfather was 4F disqualified due to childhood polio. He got his draft number in the mail and had to physically show up at the processing station and be examined.
