10mm RIA double stack

Hey guys, I just picked up a new a RIA doublestack which is both my first 1911 and my first 10mm! I've noticed their isn't much info about this gun online, so if any of you have questions about it let me know!

Update: this is very strange, but my dad's double stacked 45 para mags actually fit into my RIA. They even feed properly (when I load 10mm into the 45 cal mags). This is really strange.

Actually not that strange.   

My Sig P220 .45 ACP magazines fit my 10mm Sig P220 perfectly and feed 10mm without any issues.

My Checkmate, Kimber, Wilson Combat and other brands of 1911 .45 acp magazines functioned perfectly in my Kimber 10mm. 

The cartridges are close enough that i've yet to run into an instance where they don't work.

Just enjoy not having to immediately go out and buy specialized (read unavailable...) magazines.

Oops. 

Unfortunately the reverse is not true.   You can't run .45 acp rounds in your 10mm magazines.

Same here, I actually buy .45 SIG mags (Act-Mag brand) for my 10MM.

I can believe single stacks work but I'm still shocked doubles work.

Best mags I have found for the Para style 1911 wide body are the Triple K mags:

What up guys. I'm new to the forum. I also just picked up the Big Rock a few days ago. Took it to the range and fired some sig sauer fmj rounds through it (all buds had at the time for range). It didn't place nice with them. Out of the 50 I  shot 6 wouldn't fire. Hoping it was just a bad box. Anyway I'm grabbing some small orders from Georgia ammunition to try out. Anyone tried their 10mm yet?

I tried mine and I shot 100 armscor, and 6 rounds of sig defense (only had one box and wanted a full mag) and they all cycled perfectly. You might want to email ria
